The 55 nominees for this year's FIFA FIFPro World XI were voted for by professional footballers, with more than 25 000 players from all over the world taking part.
FIFPro once again asked the players to pick their personal World XI, with each of them having to select one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards.
The FIFA FIFPro World XI is the only team picked by professional footballers worldwide, and will be announced on 9 January 2017, during the FIFA awards gala in Zurich.
Here are the five nominated goalkeepers:
Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus)
Keylor Navas (Real Madrid)
David de Gea (Manchester United)
Claudio Bravo (Manchester City/FC Barcelona)
Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich)
The latter was selected as the World Goalkeeper of the Year in the 2015 FIFA FIFPro World XI.
