FIFA and FIFPro World Players' Union have revealed the 15 forwards who have been shortlisted for the official 2016 World XI.

Three of the 15 nominated forwards will appear in the final 2016 FIFA FIFPro XI, which will line up in a 4-3-3 formation.
Real Madrid and FC Barcelona both have three nominated forwards, while Bayern Munich have two.
More than 25 000 professional players selected their personal World XI and FIFA/FIFPro announced all nominees on Thursday.
Here are the 15 nominated forwards:
FC Barcelona: Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez
Real Madrid: Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo
Bayern Munich: Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller
Atletico Madrid: Antoine Griezmann
Manchester City: Sergio Aguero
Manchester United/Paris Saint-Germain: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Arsenal: Alexis Sanchez
Juventus: Paulo Dybala
Juventus/Napoli: Gonzalo Higuain
Leicester City: Jamie Vardy

The official 2016 FIFA FIFPro World XI will be announced during the FIFA awards gala in Zurich on 9 January 2017.
