FIFA have announced their official 2016 World XI, and snubbed the likes of Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann and Neymar.

Football's world governing body collaborated with the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro) to get more than 26 000 professional players to vote for their peers.
Real Madrid have the most representatives in the team with five nominees, while FC Barcelona follow with four.

Goalkeeper: Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich)
Defenders: Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Marcelo (Real Madrid), Gerard Pique (Barca), Daniel Alves (Barca/Juventus)
Midfielders: Toni Kroos (Real Madrid), Luka Modric (Real Madrid), Andres Iniesta (Barca)
Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Lionel Messi (Barca), Luis Suarez (Barca)
