The Western Cape-based outfit remain without a single point in continental football this season after they were defeated by the Botola Pro 1 log leaders 3-1 at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.
An early first-half brace from Youssef Zghoudi and a late Reda Hajji goal ensured that the Moroccan outfit remain undefeated against South African opposition in continental competition.
While Stellies sit rock bottom of Group B, the Orange Boys have made it two wins from two games, occupying the group's top spot.
Despite winning what seems like a comfortable scoreline, Berkane head coach Chaabani claims that the encounter was anything but easy, as the Tunisian tactician noted that the weather conditions added to the difficulty of the contest.
"These three points are very important for us, especially because of the weather conditions we faced," the 43-year-old said in his post-match comments, as per El Botola.
"We faced this difficult thing (the weather conditions). There are few teams that can win here in South Africa."
