However Raja come up against a Sundowns team also pushing for their first victory but they are also starting a new era under new head coach Miguel Cardoso.
Zerhouni stated the match against the Brazilians is important in their quest to move to the quarter-finals.
"The opponent is known continentally and has been accustomed to appearing in advanced stages of the Champions League during the last seasons, and in front of its fans it is usually strong and difficult."
"We are well aware of this. We lost and drew and we no longer have any margin for error, so it is an important match for us in the group's calculations.
"It is difficult to talk about a team's chances or fortunes in this type of match. The group results leave the field open to all calculations.
"What matters to us is to return to Morocco with a result that keeps our chances alive because after that we have three matches at home."
