Former Mamelodi Sundowns manager Pitso Mosimane has received recognition for his efforts since his appointment at Abha Club in January.

The South African tactician has taken charge of 12 games in the Middle East this term, earning an impressive 15 points as the club bid to stay in the Saudi Pro League.
Mosimane's efforts have seen Abha Club climb out of the relegation zone with three matches still to be played, with the side having recently beat last season's champions Al Ittihad 3-1 in one of their best results of the campaign.
With the 59-year-old giving Abha a chance of retaining their place in the country's top division, Sultan Majrashi, who belongs to the Sunni football group at the club, believes they have the right man at the helm.
"I believe that the lack of stability in the technical staff since the beginning of the season and the frequent changes are things that caused the first team's results to vary," he said, as per Aawsat.
"But we notice stability now with coach Mosimane and an increase in the team's results, as he was able to almost achieve 16 points since his arrival, and we are very optimistic about achieving survival."
