For the first time since the 2019/20 campaign, the Red Devils have managed to become Egypt's new best side as Marcel Koller's team won the title with five games to spare.
Ahly's nearest rival's all season long were Fagrie Lakay's Pyramids, but after they were defeated 2-1 by Ceramica Cleopatra on Monday evening, the Club of the Century were confirmed as champions of the EPL for a 43rd time.
The Swiss tactician has now won his third trophy of the season and fifth overall since taking over as head coach at the Cairo International Stadium.
The 62-year-old first led the north African giants to victory in the Egypt Super Cup before taking the club to continental success in the CAF Champions League, and now the ex-Basel boss has ended Zamalek's recent run of league titles.
Ahly are currently unbeaten in the league and will likely be looking to finish the league campaign as invincibles as they still have Zamalek, Al Mokawloon, Haras El-Hodood, Pyramids FC, and El Masry to play.
