The 35-year-old got his first goal in the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday evening, as Al Ahlhy drew 1-1 with El Gouna.
There have been reports about club wanting to offload the player, especially after their African Football League exit at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns.
However, Koller insists the French striker needs time to adapt to the Red Devils' style of play.
"Modeste needs time to adapt to our style of football," Koller said in the post-match press conference.
"We are doing our best to facilitate that process.
"He played the full 90 minutes in the last game and performed much better. He has a lot to offer but he needs to score goals to gain confidence."
