Wednesday's semi-final will see South Africa come up against a familiar face in goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, who plays his club football for Chippa United.
Nwabali has kept four clean sheets at the Afica Cup of Nations, tied with Bafana's Ronwen Williams who starred against Cape Verde.
The Super Eagles shot-stopper says he has good knowledge of the South African players ahead of the last four match up.
"Both Cape Verde and South Africa are good teams, but I want to play against South Africa," Nwabali told the media, as per Goal.
"I really wish to see how my defense will fare against them. Yes, most of their players know me and I also know them."
