Algeria 0-1 Equatorial Guinea
Defending Africa Cup of Nations champions Algeria saw their 35-game unbeaten run came to an end after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Equatorial Guinea on Sunday evening.
The Algerians welcomed Ismaël Bennacer back in the starting line-up as they looked to bounce back after the goalless draw with Sierra Leone during the week.
It was National Thunder who got the all-important strike in the 70th minute courtesy of a strike from Esteban Obiang after he was set up by Josete Miranda.
The win takes Equatorial up to second in the group, while Algeria will need to beat Ivory Coast in their final game to stand a chance of advancing to the next round.
Ivory Coast 2-2 Sierra Leone
Ivory Coast will have to wait until their next clash to secure a Last 16 spot at the Africa Cup of Nations after drawing 2-2 with Sierra Leone.
Sebastian Haller had gifted the Elephants the lead with a neat finish in the 25th minute after Franck Kessie had missed a penalty after 12 minutes.
Musa Kamara got Sierre Leone back on level terms on 55 minutes, but that only last 10 minuets when Nicolas Pepe's fine finish put Ivory Coast back in the lead.
With time running out, Leone Stars were gifted the equaliser in stoppage time after an error from Ivorian goalkeeper Badra Ali Sangare allowed Alhaji Kamara to slot home from close range.

Tunisia 4-0 Mauritania
Tunisia got their campaign up and running after thrashing Mauritania 4-0 at Stade Omnispor de Limbe.
After starting with a controversial defeat to Mali, the Tunisians races into a two-goal inside 10 minutes thanks to strikes from Hamza Mathlouthi and Wahbi Khazri.
Khazri completed his brace in the 64th minute before Seifeddine Jaziri rounded off the scoring two minutes later.
The win moves Tunisia up to third in the group, one point adrift of Gambia and Mali who sit first and second respectively.
Gambia 1-1 Mali
Africa Cup of Nations debutants Gambia remain top of Group F after drawing 1-1 with Mali on Sunday afternoon.
Mali pushed for a fast start from a free-kick in a promising position by Yves Bissouma well after the tenth minute spell, but he went wide off the top corner.
The Scorpions brought about their own right on the 20th minute mark when Musa Barrow battered the top of the crossbar from a long-range free-kick.
Gambia hit the woodwork again after 15 minutes as another free-kick which Hamari Traore unleashed this time beat the frame of Ibrahim Mounkoro's goal.
The Eagles were presented a chance to end the first half strong through amongst a snap shot on the cusp of the area by Bissouma, which went over target.
It was the Malians that started the second stanza on the front-foot in which a snap half-volley metres inside the area from Bissouma narrowly missed the top corner
Another chance went by minutes from the above mentioned attempt when Traore ran towards a ball over the top, but the connection thereto unfortunately lacked.
With the Eagles continuing to dominate, they went ahead near the final ten minutes when Ibrahima Kone netted from the penalty-spot as the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) noted a foul in the area.
The Scorpions pushed numbers forth and were rewarded in the final minute of regulation time when Barrow netted in from the spot after VAR spotted a hand ball in the area to secure a point.
