Sudan have beaten bottom-placed Sao Tome and Principe comfortably to put Bafana Bafana under pressure in their qualification group for next year's Africa Cup of Nations.

The North African side secured a 2-0 victory in Sao Tome thanks to goals by Mohamed Abdelrahman and Saif Malik to move to nine points in their tight qualification group.
The victory saw them equal the points tally so far attained by Ghana and South Africa, who will face each other on Thursday.
As a consequence, Sudan have their qualification for next year's tournament in their own hands.
Even if South Africa beat Ghana in Johannesburg, Sudan could still overtake them on the log based on their head-to-head record, but would need a two-goal victory over Bafana in their final qualifier.
Sudan could thus still claim a maximum of 12 points if they beat South Africa at home on 28 March.
Meanwhile, for Bafana, a point in their final qualifier would be enough to secure qualification if Molefi Ntseki and his team do not want to get the calculators out.
Ghana remain in the most comfortable position in the group, and could book their AFCON 2021 ticket with a draw in Mzansi due to their better head-to-head records over both Sudan and South Africa.
