Tanzania national team coach Emmanuel Amuneke has sent shockwaves throughout the continent after including 15-year-old striker Kelvin John Pius, dubbed the "new Kylian Mbappe", in his provisional 39-man squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Pius, who is nicknamed "Mbappe" after 2018 FIFA World Cup winner and Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian, has been rewarded for his excellent performances at the U17 AFCON that was hosted by Tanzania and won by Cameroon, who edged Guinea in the final on penalties, last month.
The teenage sensation, who grabbed a goal and an assist in the three matches he featured in at the tournament, has now been drafted into the Taifa Stars' provisional squad for AFCON 2019 alongside fellow youngster Claryo Boniface, who is from the U20 side.
Amuneke has explained his decision to include the two teenagers in his team, citing the need to build for the future.
"I believe it is time we start to build a team and think of the future," he told GhanaSoccernet.
"We need to start to think of the youth and see how we can start to integrate into the system.
"The squad is not just for the AFCON but also the CHAN after that.
"So as the technical team, we are planning how we can switch straight to CHAN after the AFCON."
Tanzania have been grouped alongside Algeria, Kenya and Senegal in Group C, and kick off their AFCON 2019 campaign with a clash against The Lions of Teranga on 23 June.
