Andre Ayew has qualified for his seventh AFCON finals after leading the Black Stars to a first-place finish in Group C ahead of Sudan and South Africa.
His brother Jordan will feature in his sixth continental tournament, but both are yet to celebrate lifting the title, coming closest in 2015 when they missed out to Ivory Coast via penalties in the final.
In Cameroon next year, the Ayews will surely try to emulate siblings such as Yaya and Kolo Toure, who did not only feature at AFCON but also ended up winning it.
Both Toures were part of the Elephants team that lifted the African crown in the abovementioned penalty shootout victory over Ghana in 2015, with Yaya becoming the captain to take the first, and so far only, AFCON trophy back to the Ivory Coast.
Egyptian legend Hossam Hassan, meanwhile, has won AFCON three times, namely in 1986, 1998 and 2006, while his brother Ibrahim missed out on winning the title despite featuring at three different AFCON finals.
