The story
Masandawana handed over some memorabilia to 2006 World Cup winner and legendary defender Alessandro Nesta, who attended their match against Pirates as part of the FIFA Club World Cup Trophy tour.
The Rossoneri icon visited Gauteng as a representative of FIFA and was present in exhibiting the new Club World Cup trophy around Tshwane, starting at Downs' Chloorkop base last Thursday.
Sundowns chairman, Thlopie Motsepe presented Nesta with a personalised Sundowns jersey in front of a jam-packed Loftus, shortly before the league leaders romped past Pirates in a major 4-1 result.
Nesta was given his squad number 13, which he proudly wore for AC Milan, Lazio and the Italian men's national team throughout his illustrious career.

Sundowns' heavy win over Pirates sees them build a healthy lead over the Soweto giants in the league table, making it their sixth win in their last eight games in all competition.
Although the title race remains relatively tight, both sets of players reserved plenty of sportsmanship for each other after the full-time whistle blew.
