Kaizer Chiefs boss, Nasreddine Nabi has shared an uplifting message on his Instagram account with the club's supporters following their 1-0 loss to Orlando Pirates in Saturday's highly anticipated Soweto Derby at a sold-out FNB Stadium.
The Buccaneers claimed a last gasp winner in a pulsating derby, through a Panenka-style penalty converted by attacking midfielder, Patrick Maswanganyi.
While acknowledging the disappointing result — Nabi remains confident that the team is making the right progressed. He expressed his gratitude to both the fans and the club's management for their "unwavering belief" and support.
"Amakhosi faithful, your passion fuels us. A tough one yesterday, the result stings, but we see the progress, the strides we're making. The journey is long but we're on the right path.
"Thank you for your unwavering belief, and thanks to management for their continued support. We will rise again, GOD willing."
The Glamour Boys find themselves in fifth place on the Betway Premiership table after Saturday's loss, having won six and lost as many games in 15 matches played.
