According to RG Deportiva, Ramos' representatives are currently negotiations with Mexican club Monterrey.
The report adds that the two parties have hit a roadblock with regards to salary as Ramos is open to accepting $4 million but the deadlock is due to match-related bonuses.
Monterrey's president, Antonio Noriega did speak about the Los Blancos legend being a target.
"He is on the list and is a real option among other possibilities, anything can happen as always in negotiations. Yes (negotiation is on the way) along with others. The final arrangement (is what is missing)," he said while speaking to ESPN.
"I never talk about those details (about whether there is any specific time of contract offers to the player), there is no point. There are several options (for reinforcements)."
