News reaching the Siya crew suggests Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Lebohang Maboe could be loaned to another famous PSL club before the January transfer window closes.
His agent, Steve Kapeluschnik, confirmed to Soccer Laduma that they are working on a loan deal for Maboe until the end of the season, with plans for him to return to the Brazilians at the start of next season.

"Yes, we are working on a loan move for Lebo (Maboe) until the end of the season. We don't want to say which team at the moment but we are working on that and things are looking positive for a move before the transfer window period deadline, " Kapeluschnik told the Siya crew.
A second Siya source informed the Siya crew that Maboe's contract with Sundowns runs until June 2026, and the potential loan is intended to help him gain game time.
"That's why they are looking at just a loan move. He is still a Sundowns player with one and a half years remaining on his contract and the loan move for now makes more sense as he wants to regain his confidence and more game time so that he can fight for his place when he comes back at the start of next season. That's why they are working on the loan now. Only for a loan," the insider told Soccer Laduma.
