The story
Retired Zimbabwe international midfielder, Willard Katsande took to Instagram to share his menacing SUV ahead of the 2025 Toyota Fortuner Challenge.
The ex-Glamour Boy, who's driven a Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz G-Class and a BMW X5 during his playing days, stunned alongside his branded Toyota Fortuner.
Katsande posted a snap on his Instagram of what appears to be the brand new Toyota Fortuner GR-Sport, which is valued at around R900 000.
The former no-nonsense midfielder was given the car by one of Chiefs' main sponsors, Toyota, as one of the sports heroes for the grueling challenge.
This annual Toyota competition features four contenders, each partnered with a different media outlet, who are joined by a South African sports personality. Together, they'll be tasked with a host of intense off-road tasks, 4x4 obstacle courses, as well as mental puzzles.
Katsande will be joined by athletes such as equestrian show jumper Nicole Horwood; Toyota Cheetahs rugby team captain Victor Sekekete; and Toyota Gazoo Racing team's Saood Variawa.
