According to Sky Sports News, the player's agent flew to Italy on Wednesday for talks with Serie A giants AC Milan over a short-term loan.
The report claims the two parties are discussing the parameters for a loan deal, which includes the financial aspect as Rashford is reportedly earning a £325,000-a-week and Milan want United to cover half of the salary.
Milan would only sanction a deal if their wage request is met, as half of Rashford's weekly earnings (£162 500 ) would still make him the highest-paid player at the San Siro, surpassing Alvaro Morata who takes home a reported £150,000-a-week.

Rashford is currently training on his own after recovering from illness that kept him out of the matchday squad for Sunday's Premier League encounter against rivals Liverpool at Anfield.
