Amid calls for Danny Jordaan to step down from his position as the South African Football Association president, insiders have indicated on what is likely to happen at the football mother body going forward.
Following Jordaan's arrest and court appearance last week, some of the SAFA national executive committee members and the public voiced out their concerns about the veteran football administrator and politician.

SAFA NEC member Gladwyn White came out to call for Jordaan's temporary suspension pending the outcome of the investigation on fraud allegations that he is facing.
White also warned SAFA CEO Lydia Monyepao against the release of public statements about Jordaan's arrest without the NEC's approval.
Jordaan is out on R20 000 bail after he and his co-accused in SAFA's Chief Financial Officer Gronie Hluyo and businessman Trevor Neethling appeared at the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court in Palm Ridge last Wednesday.
"He (Jordaan) is likely to continue in his role as the president for now. He believes he still has a role to play in the association," said the source.

"Yes, there might be those who are calling for him to step aside but he's got the backing of some of the members in the NEC to continue in the office. There is no step aside rule in the SAFA constitution and anyone who is saying that (Jordaan should resign) isn't saying it based on the rules at this point," the source said.
Jordaan, 73, was one of the spectators at the DHL Stadium on Tuesday evening as Bafana completed their impressive Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign with a 3-0 win over South Sudan.
There has been no communication from the association hierarchy on enquiries about the latest developments post Jordaan's court appearance.
