The Siya crew has been led to believe that Orlando Pirates striker Evidence Makgopa will form part of the final squad for Bafana Bafana's upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda and South Sudan.
Makgopa is part of the preliminary squad for the upcoming clashes and head coach Hugo Broos will announce the final roster on Thursday. It's believed Broos has been impressed with Makgopa's form since the start of the season and is eager to have him back in the team.

The former Baroka FC striker, who was at the Africa Cup of Nations with Bafana earlier this year, looks set to get into the national team ahead of his Pirates teammate Tshegofatso Mabasa, who is also in the preliminary squad.
Previously, there were calls for Mabasa to be included in the national team due to his fine form in front of goal at the time, but Broos preferred to have Iqraam Rayners in the team ahead of him. Mabasa looks set to miss out again when Broos names his final squad.
Makgopa, meanwhile, bagged his fourth goal of the season in the league when Pirates beat Richards Bay 1-0 at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday, recording their seventh consecutive victory this term. In total, Makgopa has got six goals in all competitions this season.
Bafana need three points in their final two matches of the qualifiers to book themselves a spot at AFCON in Morocco next year.
