The past few weeks have been shrouded in controversy for the French superstar. From the uproar his omission from the Les Bleus squad caused, to his trip to Sweden, and the rape accusations he has had to deal with as a consequence of his mini-holiday to Scandinavia.
It has been a trying time for the 25-year-old, but he is yet to break his silence regarding any of it.
While he may be in the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately, there has been some positive news that has emerged regarding the Paris native.
It has been confirmed that Los Blancos' newest Galactico has won the club's September Player of the Month award.
All his goal contributions in LALIGA and the UEFA Champions League have come in the ninth month of the year, and his achievements have been recognised by his new team.
"I am very happy and grateful to the Real Madrid fans, and it is a pleasure to be the player of the month. The most important thing is to win matches throughout this month and to be able to win this award again," the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner told Real's official website.
"Now, we have three very important games coming up and we want to win them. The team and I are ready, and I hope we do well for all the Real Madrid fans."
