According to reports, the 23-year-old South Africa international appears set to remain at Burnley in the EFL Championship following new events.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri earlier this week claimed that Premier League side Ipswich Town had been in talks to sign the ex-Orlando Pirates forward, but has since said negotiations have broken down.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Tavolieri says the Clarets attempted to sell Foster to Kieran McKenna's Ipswich, who later decided to not proceed with the deal.

Discussions were reportedly held over a loan transfer with an obligation to buy, but it now seems Foster will spend at least the first half of this season in the Championship.
On Thursday, Burnley manager Scott Parker said the Bafana striker was committed in training amid reports he could leave the club before the deadline.
