Four players have been signed by Manchester United so far in this window, but here are the 10 stars the club's new chiefs have axed since taking over football operations.
A new era at Man Utd
New minority owner of the Red Devils, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and those close to him have been busy since his company, INEOS, purchased a 27.7% stake in the 20-time English champions earlier this year.
A decision to retain manager Erik ten Hag was made in July after talking to potential successors, while captain Bruno Fernandes recently penned a new three-year deal.
This is the INEOS chiefs' first window overseeing footballing operations at Old Trafford, and fans have expressed excitement about the side's new additions.
Netherlands forward Joshua Zirkzee was signed from Bologna in Italy, teenage centre-back Leny Yoro from Lille, and Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui have arrived from Bayern Munich.
These four players are expected to provide Ten Hag stronger options after a disturbed 2023/24 campaign, during which United recorded more than 50 separate cases of injury or sickness.
Which 10 players have been moved on?
Important to Ratcliffe's overhaul in Manchester, however, is the business he has been able to secure in terms of outgoings. Four players departed at the end of last season as free agents, namely Anthony Martial, Raphael Varane, Omari Forson and Brandon Williams.
It was decided they no longer had a future under Ten Hag at Old Trafford, with Martial and Williams still looking for new clubs after Varane penned a deal with Italian side Como and Forson joined AC Monza.

Midfielder Donny van de Beek, meanwhile, completed a transfer to Spanish outfit Girona for a small fee, and French defender Willy Kambwala joined Villarreal permanently after the club agreed to sign him for €10 million (R199.9 million).
Young left-back Alvaro Fernandez was sold to Benfica in Portugal and 22-year-old striker Mason Greenwood to Olympique Marseille, bringing an end to his stay at the Red Devils. The one-time England international scored twice for the French side on his debut last weekend, in a 5-1 away win over Brest.
Fan favourite Aaron Wan-Bissaka penned a seven-year deal with West Ham United, who paid €17.6 million (R351.8 million) for his signature, while Uruguay international Facundo Pellistri became the 10th player to be moved on after he agreed to join Greek giants Panathinaikos this week.
