Marcelo's eldest son, Enzo Alves, is believed to be causing a stir at Valdebebas.
Spanish publication AS claims the 14-year-old is one the young talents in the club's academy that "generates the most expectation" and that his "very powerful physique" is notable among his peers.
Alves, an attacking player, joined Real's youth ranks when he was eight years old and is considered a prolific goalscorer after netting 105 times in his first century of appearances.
The teenager, despite having a Brazilian dad, was born in Madrid in 2009 and has represented Spain at U15 level.
It is unclear as to whether or not Alves has ambitions of playing for Brazil at senior level should he make the grade, but it is perhaps significant that he has turned out for Spain as a youth player.
In the four games he has played for Spain's U15 side, the striker has scored three goals.
He is currently under contract at the 15-time UEFA Champions League winners until 2027, with his latest extension coming in May this year.
