Saudi Arabia giants Al Ittihad have made a massive call on their star N'Golo Kante amid links with the likes of Barcelona.

During the latter stages of the Frenchman's career at Chelsea, the Paris native has struggled with many injuries and this led to the Blues not renewing his contract when it expired in 2023.
He would sign as a free agent with Al Ittihad at the start of the 2023/24 season and was an ever-present throughout the campaign, and it was this reliability that led to Didier Deschamps naming him in his French squad for the 2024 UEFA European Championship.
Kante was one of the best performers for Les Bleus at the continental showpiece as they made it to the tournament's semi-finals, and these displays have seemingly attracted the interest of major clubs in Europe.
Earlier in the window, West Ham United were rumoured to be keen on signing him, and more recently Barca and Atletico Madrid have been linked with the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, but according to Diario AS, the Saudi side have labelled Kante as untouchable.
The People's Club's refusal to let Kante go led to West Ham signing Argentine Guido Rodriguez, and it seems Atleti and the Blaugrana will have to look for alternative targets as well as Ittihad want to want compete for the league once again after a disappointing title defence last campaign.

They reportedly see the only way to do this is to keep their best players, and the France international is categorised as such.
