According to Buzz News Tunisia, midfielder Hannibal Mejbri is looking to leave the Red Devils in a permanent transfer before the window closes at the end of the month.
The publication cites sources in England, whom they say have confirmed that the Tunisia international has asked to be moved on as the 2024/25 campaign approaches.
Hannibal, 21, played regularly in United's pre-season games, but is likely to only be a back-up option at the Red Devils should he continue at the club beyond August.
The 20-time English champions have reportedly made it clear they would want about £7 million (R162.4 million) for his signature amid interest from teams in Scotland.
Celtic and Rangers have been linked with the former France youth international, who has made only 13 senior appearances for United.
The player joined the Premier League giants' academy in 2019 from Monaco's U17 team and was once considered a top talent in the club's ranks.

His potential departure would see him become the 10th player to leave United in this window, with right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka becoming the ninth after he completed a switch to West Ham United on Tuesday.
