The story
The Buccaneers have touched down in Spain for their second successive pre-season tour in head coach Jose Riveiro's home country.
Ezimnyama Ngenkani will begin their preseason campaign against Wayne Rooney's English Championship side Plymouth Argyle on Friday, 12 July, before taking on LaLiga outfit Sevilla on Monday, 15 July and will finish things off against Qatar Stars League side, Al Sadd SC on 19 July.
The Soweto Giants will be lounging comfortably at the Barceló Marbella, a lush four-star hotel just a 10-minute drive away from Marbella Football Centre.
Situated in what's said to be one of the best and most exclusive residential areas in Marbella, the Barceló Marbella hotel is close to a world class golf course and a range of scenic beaches.
The hotel also boasts a fully equipped wellness centre with a gym, sauna, Turkish bath and large solarium (a glass-enclosed porch or room) with Balinese beds.
Bucs players and staff can explore the Gastrobar La Santa María restaurant, where they can enjoy an eatery that has a gastronomic concept, combining the best of international and local cuisine in a wide range of 'travelling tapas', there's also a more informal offering with a food truck on board.
The cheapest room in the hotel costs 100 Euros per night (R1 955), with the most expensive suite priced at R4 314. The Barceló hotel group as a whole owns 4 and 5 star hotels in 21 countries, with more than 140 establishments from Europe to the Caribbean.
The colonial-style Barceló Marbella hotel was built in 2004 with around 206 rooms spread across a five-story building.
