Among the highlights were leather garments crafted from LV-designed footballs, echoing designs that could have sprung from Pharrell's collaboration with upcycling designer, Nicole McLaughlin, as mentioned by Highsnobiety.
Louis Vuitton's affinity for football is not new; the French luxury house has crafted travel trunks for the FIFA World Cup Trophy multiple times since the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Along with a host of collections, as well as some iconic campaigns featuring Zinedine Zidane, Pele, Diego Maradona, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Previous collections have also explored football-themed motifs. A notable nod to its heritage was the release of a leather handbag shaped like a soccer ball within its Spring/Summer 2025 line.
African football legend, Didier Drogba and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Yves Bissouma made an appearance, viewing pieces that included shirts with "LVFC" written across them.
