Romelu Lukaku's loan spell with AS Roma has ended, but there has reportedly been a new update on the Chelsea striker's future.
New Napoli manager Antonio Conte is reportedly targeting the Chelsea outcast as his first signing ahead of the new season.
Conte was officially unveiled as the manager of the Naples outfit this week, as he aims to get the side back in the top four after finishing tenth this campaign.

With Victor Osimhen expected to leave in the coming weeks, Conte is eager to beef up the striking department for the 2024/25 season.
According to La Repubblica, Conte is eager to reunite with Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku in Naples.
Lukaku helped Conte win the Serie A title during the 2020/2021 season before he made the move to Chelsea.
The Belgian striker, however, has not enjoyed the best of times at Stamford Bridge and has since had two loan spells at Inter and AS Roma in the past two seasons.
The report adds that Napoli have already made an offer worth £13million, although the striker has a release clause of £38 million.
Lukaku did recently claim that a return to Belgium could be on the cards in the near future.
" I miss my mother, my children. I left my country at eighteen. That return will definitely happen, much sooner than you might think," the striker told Belgian journalist Aster Nzeyimana.
"But now only the national team and the future matter. We have to support the players who give us and who have done a good job. I ask the media: stop throwing fuel on the fire. Let's move forward."
