Lyle Foster's Burnley have officially been relegated to the Championship with one game left in the Premier League.
Vincent Kompany's side came into the clash knowing only a win would keep them alive heading to the final day of the season next weekend.
Burnley gave themselves some after taking the lead after 25 minutes through Jacob Bruun Larsen's seventh league goal of the campaign.
That joy was short-lived though as Spurs levelled matters seven minutes later courtesy of a superb strike from full-back Pedro Porto.
The North London outfit did go on to get the winning goal in the 82nd minute when defender Micky van de Ven found the bottom corner with a lovely finish from the edge of the box.
Spurs have slim of finishing in the top four, but need Liverpool to beat Aston Villa on Sunday while they would also need to win their final two games, starting with Manchester City on Wednesday night.
