Kaizer Chiefs are believed to have reignited their interest in a Congolese striker, the Siya crew has been informed.
Indications are that former Al Ahly attacker, Walter Bwalya, is understood to be back on Chiefs' radar, as the club struggles with its goalscoring form.
Siya sources have revealed that Amakhosi are keen to bring in the 28-year-old, who is understood to be a replacement for Jasond Gonzalez, whose loan deal comes to an end at the end of the campaign.

According to insiders, the Al Nahda Club striker could look to be the solution to the goalscoring crisis at the club.
"The club is looking at boosting the striking force and since Gonzalez's loan deal won't be renewed, they are looking at bringing someone they have been monitoring for some time now and thats Walter (Bwalya).
"They are aware he is registered with another club now as they couldn't get him as a free agent in January but they are apparently working around the clock to try and get him. They don't won't to just settle for anyone but the best, and they feel Bwalya fits that bill very well," a source informed the Siya crew.

Indications are that Chiefs may look to offload other players in the off-season.
"The technical team which involves even the youth coaches has agreed that the department that needs urgent attention is the striking department. They have agreed that some of the strikers haven't raised their hands up enough to grantee them a place at the club for next season and that's why the team would be looking at bringing in one or two strikers to help solve the team's goalscoring problems.
"Management (is of the opinion that) if the strikers were doing their job as good as the defence and the midfield, the team could have been in a better position in the league and competed better in other competitions than the way they have done. That's why they are looking at Walter Bwalya and other strikers like Khanyisa Mayo and Elias Mokwana," the source added.
Bwalya is currently featuring in the Oman Pro League where he has so far played four games, scoring on two occasions and providing one assist.
The Siya crew made an attempts to contact Chiefs for comment, but no response was received at the time of publishing.
