The Green Eagles are only three points behind Nasreddine Nabi-led FAR Rabat on the Botola Pro table, with a game in hand on them too, but they do not seem to be resting on the laurels as they have made a big addition to their squad this week, in the form of Victor Abrego.
According to Le Site Info, the Bolivian has signed a two-year deal to stay in Casablanca and work with the former Orlando Pirates manager.
Zinnbauer has been in the market for a forward since the off-season, with ex-Kaizer Chiefs forward Samir Nurkovic linked with a move to his club back then.
However while a deal for the Serbian failed to materialise, the German now has what he has been looking for.
Listed at 1.76m tall, it seems the 15-time Bolivia international possesses all the physical traits Zinnbauer is looking for in an attacker that will help provide more goals to his squad.
While Raja are the second-highest-scoring side in the Moroccan top flight this season, they have scored eight less goals than the league leaders.

After the acquisition of Abrego, now on the agenda for Zinnbauer will be to identify outgoings. The aforementioned Moroccan publication has stated that Raja's chiefs are keen to reduce their wage bill and want the German to single out players who are on big salaries but do not add value to the team.
