Let's take a closer look at where this dance comes from and the man behind it...
TS Galaxy do the "Skomota Dance"
Sead Ramovic's TS Galaxy side overcame Usuthu in the Carling Knockout Cup on Sunday with a 3-2 win, curtesy of goals from Samir Nurkovic, Higor Vidal and Lehlohonolo Mojela.
Mojela opened the scoring within the first five minutes of the game, celebrating his strike by doing the viral Skomota Dance Challenge with his teammates.
The Skomota Dance Challenge has been making waves over the last few months on TikTok, named after its creator, Thabang Sefala, popularly known as 'Skomota'.
Sefala's fame sky-rocketed when he reportedly won R3 million on Betway this year, making him more than just a big name on TikTok.
He is said to be around 37-years-old and created a rather strange dance move that's garnered attention from local and international dancers on the video-sharing app.

Many fans have since copied his dance moves; among them is Tshivenda-speaking singer, Makhadzi, who embraced the dance from the Limpopo man on TikTok and at the recent South African Music Awards, where she invited Skomota out on stage.

The dance comes from pure improvisation from Skomota, with the leg movement part of the dance seemingly taking inspiration from the Kwasa-Kwasa, dance pioneered by Arthur Mafokate's All Stars kwaito/pop group.
The viral internet sensation's recent fortune and online presence has seen him pursue a music career and released an Amapiano song called "Dipikara Mmotong", featuring Team Delela and Aembu.
The Skomota Dance Challenge tends to use any upbeat Amapiano song as its backdrop and it won't come as a surprise if the dance move also takes over Dezemba at various groove spots around the country.
Skomota's influence has finally reached the PSL, a huge nod to the Limpopo native's meteoritic rise in South Africa's entertainment industry.
