What's the story?
Concept jersey designs are a huge trend among sports loving graphic designers on social media.
A British creative, who claims to design team jerseys every day, shared his ideas of what Pirates, Chiefs and Sundowns' home jerseys should look like... and the results are not bad!

Let's take a closer look at these concept jerseys...
Pirates
Zayn's Jersey.co has been on a role on TikTok with his concept kit designs and started off his foray into the DStv Premiership with a design for the Buccaneers.
The designer used plenty of red details on the kit, using the Vodacom logo as his starting point. Despite criticising Thebe Magugu's work on the Pirates kit, like the original jersey he uses the skull and bones in his iteration.
The Pirates logo is also enlarged and centralised, placed just above the Vodacom logo. Take a look:

Sundowns
The Masandawana concept design sees meshed geometric shapes in shades of green, with more green on the v-neck collar and cuffs.
The club's shirt sponsor is seen in yellow, with green illustration used a background and a gold African Football League champions badge on the left sleeve to complete the design.

Chiefs
For the Glamour Boys kit, Zayn received plenty of requests from Chiefs fans in the comment section of his videos from the Sundowns and Pirates jerseys.
"You've seen us do Orlando Pirates, the Sundowns, the next one is the greatest South African football team of all time, it's the Kaizer Chiefs," said the designer when introducing his Chiefs concept jersey.
Zayn uses black diagonal lines, which fade down to the halfway mark of the jersey, with the Vodacom logo in red like the Pirates kit and a round collar in black and gold.
