Vasili Manousakis and Sean Connor have been holding down the fort, following the dismissal of Shaun Bartlett last month.
To their credit, they did manage to get the side from Ikamva their first win of the season against Orlando Pirates and came close to snatching a point from Kaizer Chiefs a few days later.
Now, the latest information reaching the crew's desk is that Spurs have turned their attention to Ernst Middendorp.
It has been a busy year for the German who has gone through three clubs in Moroka Swallows, SV Meppen and more recently Singida, where his spell lasted less than 20 days!
Middendorp, to his credit, is known for his ability to save clubs from relegation and will have to try and replicate this feat with beleaguered Spurs.
An announcement is expected before Spurs play their next match against Royal AM on Saturday 25 November.
