While he may not have enjoyed the best start to life at the Santiago Bernabeu, the 23-year-old Brazilian is now regarded as one of the best players in the world following his performances in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 campaigns.
The Sao Goncalo native scored 20-plus goals and provided 20-plus assists in both those campaigns, and it is for this reason that Los Blancos recently decided to reward him with a new four-year deal.
According to Capology, the 24-cap Brazil international is taking home €400 577 (R7.8 million) a week, putting him on par with their new marque acquisition Jude Bellingham.
While it took Vinicius a couple of seasons to establish his world-class status with Los Merengues, Bellingham's start to life in the Spanish capital has been the complete opposite as he already has 13 goals in as many matches for Real.
The 20-year-old is among the highest earners at the club, but despite Real's future being seemingly bright with their young dynamic duo leading the line, the duo's wages are still far off the top as veteran midfielder Toni Kroos is said to be the best-paid player at Valdebebas.
The German technician joined Real in 2014 and since then has been an ever-present in the club's recent trophy-laden spell. The 33-year-old has helped Los Blancos win four UEFA Champions League trophies, five FIFA Club World Cups and three LALIGA titles.

It is this consistency over the past nine years that has seen him become the club's highest earner, with the Greifswald native believed to take home a staggering €468 846 (R9.1 million) weekly.
