The Portuguese boss recently said he had received a significant offer from a team in Saudi Arabia, but added that he had given his word to the Italian giants for the 2023/24 campaign.
The 60-year-old's current deal in Rome will expire at the end of the season, with reports in Italy suggesting the former Manchester United manager is unlikely to commit to new terms at the club.
Speaking about his future in a recent interview, Mourinho admitted he sees himself coaching in Saudi Arabia at some point.
"I will go to Saudi Arabia in some free time, but I am convinced that I will work there," he told Egyptian outlet MBC.
"I don't know when, but I am pretty sure of it.
"I am committed to my work with Roma and I want to give everything to the club until the last day.
"No one knows the future, but I will definitely do this (work in Saudi Arabia)."
