Manchester United have officially announced the signing of a former Real Madrid star.

The Red Devils have confirmed the arrival of Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon, who joins the club on loan, after Unitedpulling out of a deal for Chelsea's Marc Cucurella.

Sergio Reguilon has signed up for the 2023/24 season! ??#MUFC
The 26-year-old joined the Lilywhites from Real in 2020 after impressing on a short-term deal at Sevilla in LALIGA in 2019/2020, making 36 appearances in his debut campaign in England.
Reguilon then played 31 times for the club the following season before falling out of favour and being sent to Atletico Madrid on loan this past term, and has now been identified as a solution to United's injury issues at left-back, with Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw currently sidelined.

Reguilon now joins the Red Devils on a season-long loan and will return to Spurs for the beginning of the 2024/25 campaign.
The fullback made 22 senior appearances for Real prior to his departure three years ago, contributing to three goals.
