It is being reported that Salah received a huge offer from the Saudi Pro League side earlier this week, although the Reds have no desire to sell so late in the transfer window.
Transfer journalist Rudi Galetti has now reported that Salah has informed Liverpool that he wants to leave and join the Saudi Pro League side.

Galetti added that while Salah is open to leaving, the final decision lies with Liverpool although the deadline to make a decision expires on Monday, 28 August.
The offer from Al-Ittihad reportedly includes a five-year deal, which will see him earn around £100million and a chance to become an ambassador for tourism in the country.
Jurgen Klopp on Friday claimed there is no offer for Salah and says the offer would be rejected if there was one.
"We don't have an offer, Mo Salah is still a Liverpool player, obviously for all the things we do, he's essential and will be. There's nothing there. If there would be something, the answer would be no," Klopp said, as per the Guardian.
"My life philosophy is I think about a problem when I have it. At the moment, there's absolutely nothing. I said already if there is something, the answer would be no."
