According to the Daily Mail, the Reds are becoming optimistic about their prospects of signing Netherlands international Ryan Gravenberch following a recent round of discussions.
The 21-year-old is said to be open to leaving Bavaria in this transfer window, and is a player Jurgen Klopp is believed to have high up on his priority transfers list.
The young midfielder joined Die Roten from Ajax Amsterdam for €18 million (R373 million) last season, but since making his way to the Allianz Arena, he has started only six of the 33 matches he played for them in 2022/23.
With Klopp still keen to bolster his midfield, it appears the Dutchman could be set to join the Premier League giants.
The same report claims that the six-time European champions are also actively trying to bring Crystal Palace's Cheick Doucoure to Anfield.
The Malian completed the move to south London from RC Lens last year, and enjoyed an impressive debut campaign in the English top flight, leading to speculation the Merseysiders are ready to make a move for him.
