Veteran coach Ernst Middendorp is linked with a return to the DStv Premiership after he parted ways with his most recent club overseas.
From March this year, Middendorp has been back at his home country in Germany, with Meppen where he initially worked as the club's head coach, before he was appointed as the Director of Football in May.

The 64-year-old has since resigned from his role at the club this week and is expected to return to Mzansi to assess his options for his next move.
In his previous role in the DStv Premiership, Middendorp was in charge at Swallows FC from December last year until March 2023.
The former Kaizer Chiefs coach had previously applied for a job at Sekhukhune United and went for an interview before the club decided to appoint Brandon Truter last year.

"Don't be surprised to see Ernst Middendorp back in the country again soon. He believes he has unfinished business here," said the source.
"He is an experienced coach who can still make a difference at any club that may be in need of his services. The coach's name has been mentioned as a potential candidate for Sekhukhune United should the club decide to make changes after a slow start to the season," the source said.
