According to RMC Sport, Luis Enrique has told Neymar, Marco Verratti, Hugo Ekitike, Juan Bernat and Renato Sanches that their services are no longer required at the club.
The Verrati news does come as a surprise, having been quite a key figure for the Ligue 1 champions over the last few years but he does reportedly have offers from Saudi Arabia.
Verratti along with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe were left out PSG's opening Ligue 1 encounter against Lorient on Saturday, which ended in a goalless draw.
Ekitike only joined PSG on loan season before the move was made permanent this term, however it seems the coach has no plans for the youngster especially after the signing of Gacalo Ramos.
The report from RMC Sport adds that Enrique and sporting director Luis Campos spoke to each player individually this week to inform them about the coach's decision.
PSG have brought in eight new signings this campaign and are now aiming to trim the squad and the wage bill for the new campaign.
