Mbappe 'Open' To EPL Move, But Only On One Condition...

Kylian Mbappe is now reportedly open to making the move to one the Premier League's top sides, but will only do so on one condition.

According to the Daily Star, with the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner still intent on joining Real Madrid, he is now willing to make the switch to a top English club, but only on a one-year, loan deal.

The 24-year-old is now in the last 12 months of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, and having made it clear he will not be extending with Les Parisiens, the French club has taken it upon themselves to essentially ostracise the prolific attacker from the first-team squad and place him on the transfer list.

The Bondy native is rumoured to be training with fringe players who are expected to be sold and not the main PSG group as the club looks to find a resolution regarding his future, with there having been suggestions that he could be left in the stands for all of next season if he does not leave in this window.

The same report claims that Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are all keen to lure the attacker to the English top flight, but Les Rouge-et-Bleu will only let him leave on loan for a significant fee.

The French giants are believed to have already accepted a €300 million (R6.1 billion) offer from Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal for Mbappe's signature, but with the forward refusing to discuss a possible move to the Gulf state, this leaves the record Ligue 1 champions with little room to manoeuvre if they are to benefit from his exit.

Mbappe's mother and representative, Fayza Lamari, is believed to have already had discreet discussions with certain Premier League sides through intermediaries as her son does not want to spend the entirety of the 2023/24 season on the sidelines at PSG, especially with the UEFA European Championship taking place next year.

Many expect the 2022 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner to sign with Los Blancos as a free agent once his contract in Paris expires in June 2024.
