As reported by the Siya crew on Tuesday, Swallows cast their sights on the attacker with the aim of adding him to the likes of Andile Jali, Lantshene Phalane and Keanan Phillips who have all been snapped up by coach Steve Komphela's side.
Zuma, 25, joined Usuthu from Kaizer Chiefs at the start of the 2022/23 season, and the attacker had made 24 appearances for the Kwa-Zulu Natal outfit and scored just one goal in that period.
Indications are that the player has joined the Birds nest and is understood to have been introduced to the players last night.
He is set to begin pre-season preparations under the watchful eye of Komphela, under whom he has previously worked with at Chiefs.
