As revealed by the Siya crew, the shot-stopper has in fact re-joined SuperSport United after the Tshwane giants agreed to a deal with Gallants, which is the club that the 37-year-old has been playing for.
Contacted for comment, Arubi's representative Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi from Rush Hour Sports Management confirmed the deal with the Tshwane giants.
"Yes, it is true that Washington Arubi will be playing for a new club in the new season. A deal has been agreed to between SuperSport United and Marumo Gallants for the player's services," said Mulovhedzi.

"We are excited about this deal because it ends ongoing speculation about the player's future. As we have always maintained, the player didn't sign with any club as he still had a contract with Marumo Gallants. Marumo Gallants chairman never said he doesn't want to allow Washington to move on with his career, and he was happy to conclude a deal with any club that approached him. The player has been given the chairman's blessings to join SuperSport," concluded the intermediary.
