Speaking to Titan Sports ahead of Argentina's friendly against Australia on Thursday afternoon, the ex-Paris Saint-Germain superstar answered a wide range of questions.
Messi praised Pep Guardiola as the "best coach in the world" following Manchester City's treble win, adding that he did not believe his former manager needed to claim the UEFA Champions League to prove it.
The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner was also asked to name the players he enjoyed playing with the most, and Messi rattled off some high-profile names, including Samuel Eto'o and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"Like Ronaldinho, Deco, Eto'o, [Luis] Suarez, Xavi, [Andres] Iniesta, [Sergio] Busquets, I was lucky enough to play with the best players and enjoy the game with them," he said.
"Speaking of which, I almost forgot about Neymar because there are so many people.
"There must be many players I forgot to mention. I've been lucky enough to play with the best players, with the best strikers. Like Neymar, Eto'o, Suarez, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic and [David] Villa and many more.
"I've been comfortable playing with all of them, or almost all of them, because I've been lucky enough to play with the best of them... playing with them is easy."
The 2022 FIFA World Cup-winning captain will be back in action for Argentina over the coming days, with friendlies against Australia and Indonesia scheduled.
