According to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, I Nerazzurri want to configure their squad for the 2023/34 campaign as soon as possible and are keen to conduct their transfer business with urgency.
A few of their targets seem to ply their trade in west London, so the Serie A giants are believed to have scheduled negotiations with the Blues in the coming days.
On the agenda will be Romelu Lukaku. The 30-year-old is poised to return to Stamford Bridge in the coming weeks, but it looks as though both Inter and the forward are eager to continue their relationship. The Milanese side seem to want to renew Antwerp native's loan deal instead of move for him permanently.
Inter are believed to also be interested in Kalidou Koulibaly., who has been subject to plenty of transfer speculation recently, with Saudi Pro League sides also heavily linked with the central defender. It remains to be seen if Chelsea will be willing to part with the French-born 31-year-old given they signed him only a year ago.
The same report claims that the Italian side's sporting director, Piero Ausilio, will also ask the two-time European champions how if they are in Andre Onana. The Premier League outfit seem to have become disillusioned with Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga and are looking likely to find a new No. 1.
