The Siya crew has been led to believe that Orlando Pirates have officially put their name in the hat to secure the services of midfielder Andile Jali.
As they did with Kermit Erasmus and Ndumiso Mabena during the past season, the Siya crew understands that the Soweto giants are hoping to welcome back their former midfielder to the club on a short-term deal.

Pirates will be competing in the CAF Champions League next season after finishing second in the DStv Premiership and indications are that management see Jali as someone who can add value and experience in the competition, as they look to reach the group stages and, possibly, beyond.
Jali officially parted ways with Sundowns a fortnight ago, a bitter end to what had been a promising stint at some point with the club, as he won the DStv Premiership midfielder of the season award in 2021/22.
Now, the experienced campaigner is a free agent, and the Buccaneers are understood to be a frontrunner to secure his services, possibly on a one-year deal.

The Siya crew understands that AmaZulu are still interested in Jali, but the player wants to stay and possibly finish his playing career in Gauteng.
