Manchester United are reportedly seriously pondering whether or not to continue their chase for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

According to Football Insider, the Red Devils are contemplating pulling the plug on their pursuit of England's all-time top goalscorer.
Kane is rumoured to be Erik ten Hag's top target for the striking position, but in a bid to complete their transfer business as early as possible, the Dutch tactician could shift his attention to other targets.
The London native is entering the final year of his contract at Spurs and looks unlikely to extend his stay after yet another underwhelming season in which the club was unable to lift a trophy.
The Lilywhites, though, appear to be adamant in their stance of refusing to sell to Premier League rivals, and the Mancunians are reportedly not eager in engaging in protracted negotiations for the attacker.
Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also believed to be interested in signing the Spurs academy alumni, but with Kane only 48 strikes away from breaking Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League goalscoring record, it seems unlikely the marksman will entertain a move abroad just yet.
If United are eager to sign the England captain, they may have to wait until the end of next season to do so, when he will be a 30-year-old free agent.
The same report claims that Ten Hag will also try to sign Denmark international Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.
